Job Responsibilities:

• Managing the design process using commercial, contractual, programme/time awareness and technical expertise
• Supporting, understanding and advising the client as to the requirements and obligations in the development of a building design
• Ensuring the design process meets current legislation, standards and codes of practice where appropriate
• Ensuring design information is of the right quality and keeps pace with project timescales
• Monitor and report on design progress and list of deliverables
• Striving to eliminate health and safety risks in the design and financial risks during construction.
• Lead technical meetings with internal and external design consultant teams, controlling the development of the design concept
• Managing the coordination between structural, M&E and architectural design and coordination team
• Validate all issued drawings

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 12 years engineering experience, of which 8 years in the design of civil and structures for projects of similar role and complexity
• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or recognized Degree in the relevant field
• Experience in MRT projects is preferred
• Good communication and interaction skills

• Responsible for the overall execution and successful completion of the project
• Responsible for efficient use of resources and ensure project is completed within contractual schedule, scope and budget and ensure all work comply to MOM, LTA, NEA requirements as well as implementation of safety regulations to ensure safety compliance
• Oversee budgeting, scheduling and other managerial aspects of project
• Prepare work schedules and monitor project costing, work progress and coordination with all parties involved to ensure smooth work progress
• Planning, design and day to day running of construction projects undertaken by the company
• Manage staff, vendors, contractors and sub-contractors for progression of work
• Coordinate and liaise closely with relevant authorities and clients on all project matters and attend all site meetings and inspections
• Manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis and develop contingency plans to prevent disruption to business operation
• Coordination, supervision and monitoring the progress of the project works on site, manpower mobilization, materials planning and ordering

Job Requirements:

• Minimum 15 years engineering experience, of which 10 years in managing design and construction teams for projects of similar scale and complexity
• Degree in Civil Engineering recognized by the PE Board or recognized Degree in the relevant field
• Experience in MRT projects is preferred
• Excellent leadership skill in leading the project team and managing the project milestones
• Strong interpersonal, managerial and communications skills

Job Responsibilities:

• Responsible for effective planning and execution of project plan and efficient use of resources to ensure project completion within the contractual schedule and budgeted cost.
• Liaise with various parties, such as other project teams, contractors, consultants, designers, architects and to ensure the construction works are executed in accordance with the specifications.
• Supervise and lead a team of workers and sub-contractors to perform on site work in accordance with approved Method Statement, Safety Procedures and ISO Quality System.
• Responsible for implementing work plan from the Project Manager.
• Reinforce and practice of environmental, safety and health standards required for the project.
• Provide technical advice including safety related issues.
• Responsible for conducting Risk Assessments within the scope defined by the RM team.
• Attend project meetings.
• Others ad-hoc tasks within the Manager’s capabilities.

Requirements

• Minimum 12 years of construction experience, of which 8 years shall be in managing the construction of projects of similar size and complexity to the project.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Experienced with managing MRT projects will have added advantage
• Strong people manager skills and ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization and with external customers and suppliers.
